For the second consecutive year, the international Bordeaux street art competition has made a comeback since March 9 and will end on September 29. The formula remains the same as the previous year: an event open to all, an expert jury, international renown and three prizes to be won.
The theme of this year was directed towards the safeguard of the planet since the participants must carry out a work in connection with the following title: "how to act to save the planet and preserve our future generations?".
The French being confined to their homes, this competition is ideal for artists who usually lack time, because they will be able to let their imagination run wild this year, from home.
The hashtag #ACTFORTHEPLANET has been launched, which allows you to follow the progress of the competition and the works of certain candidates.

The jury is made up of nine street art experts. Four big names known in this domain have been disclosed, including Aurélien Desailloud, artistic director of the Bernard Magrez Institute who will chair the Jury and the artists Stéphane Carricondo, A-MO and Epis.

During the first edition of the Street Art Competition, there were nearly hundred and thirty two applications and twenty seven nationalities represented. The 2019 Jury Prize was won by the Spanish artist DYOX.

Finally, we can say that once again, social networks allow us to share what we create, imagine, feel even in times of confinement. This allows us to keep a constant link between us during this period which marks history and which will mark us for life.
They help us to keep in touch with the outside.
